May 6, 2011 Crime Solvers Seeks Suspect in Vehicle Larceny Fairfax County Crime Solvers is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the person(s) responsible for stealing a work van and a large quantity of tools inside. Police were called to a home in the 2900 block of Mainstone Drive in the Fairfax area around 7:55 a.m. on Wednesday, April 27. An investigation determined a 38-year-old Fairfax man parked his work van in the 2900 block of Mainstone Drive around 9:20 p.m. on Tuesday, April 26. He discovered it missing the following morning around 5:45 a.m. The van contained a large quantity of tools and construction equipment. The white 2003 Ford Econoline van was recovered on Thursday, May 5 in Washington, D.C.; the tools were no longer in the vehicle.
