Seeks Homicide Suspect

County Crime Solvers is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Jose Luis
Cruz, 53, of
6508
Pinecrest Court
in Annandale. Cruz is wanted for the murder of his estranged wife, 57-year-old
Matilde A. Cruz, of the Alexandria area. Jose Cruz is 5 feet 5 inches tall and
190 pounds. He has short, black hair and a scar on his right forearm.
Police
were called to the
Pinecrest
Court
address shortly after
3 p.m.
on Thursday, December 20. Officers found Matilde Cruz dead in her car, to the
rear of the home. An investigation determined that Cruz was stabbed in the upper
body.

with information on the whereabouts of Jose Luis Cruz or the homicide is asked

A $1,000 cash reward will be paid for
