Crime Solvers Seeks Help in Identifying Robbery Suspects

Fairfax County Crime Solvers is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the men responsible for robbing a 28-year-old Merrifield-area man. Around 12:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 12, the victim walked across Gallows Road near the Dunn Loring Metro. As he reached the sidewalk, three men approached him from behind. The suspects assaulted the victim, took personal items then fled the area. The victim returned home and phoned police later that morning. He had minor injuries but did not require medical treatment.

The three suspects were described as being in their 20s. One suspect was wearing a white or yellow, vertical-striped shirt. Investigators have learned that a vehicle may have driven past the robbery as it was occurring. They would like to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the robbery or have knowledge about the suspects.

A $100 to $1,000 cash reward will be paid for information that leads to an arrest.
