Crime Solvers Seeks Larceny Suspect
Fairfax County Crime Solvers is asking for the public’s assistance in
identifying the man responsible for stealing a money card and cash from a
77-year-old Alexandria-area woman. Around 2:25 p.m. on Wednesday, December 19
the woman was using an ATM at a bank in the 8700 block of Richmond Highway. The
woman noticed a man standing close behind her in line. She felt uncomfortable so
she quickly finished her transaction and walked away. The woman immediately
realized that she left her card in the ATM and walked back. When she inquired,
the man told her it was not there. After checking with the bank, the woman
returned home and realized a large amount of cash had been withdrawn from her
account.

Police have obtained photos of the suspect at the ATM and they are hoping
someone will recognize him.
