Crime Solvers Seeks Suspect in
Burglary Case
Fairfax County Crime Solvers is asking for the public’s assistance in
identifying the man responsible for burglarizing a medical office and later
attempting to obtain drugs with a fraudulent prescription. Between Friday, March
21 and Wednesday, April 16 a medical office in the 1800 block of
Towne Center Drive in Reston was burglarized. The suspect entered the office and
stole a prescription pad.
Using a script from that pad, the suspect attempted to obtain the prescription
drug Hydrocodone at a pharmacy in the Chantilly area on April 16. Surveillance
video captured the suspect at the counter and detectives are hopeful someone
will recognize him. He was described as white, 5 feet 6 inches tall and 125
pounds. He appeared to be 18 to 25 years old with short, blonde hair. He was
wearing a yellow polo-type shirt and blue jeans.
Anyone with
information on the burglary or the suspect is asked to contact Crime Solvers by
phone at 1-866-411-TIPS(8477), e-mail at www.fairfaxcrimesolvers.org or text
“TIP187” plus your message to CRIMES(274637). A $100 to $1,000 cash reward will
be paid for information that leads to an arrest. As always, callers never have
to give their names or appear in court.
